The International Day of Persons with Disabilities, established by a resolution of the UN General Assembly, is celebrated annually on December 3rd. The General Assembly called on states to further integrate people with special needs into public life.
For the second year in a row, the II International Special Seminar dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities was organized with the support of Oksana Desyatnyuk, WUNU Vice-Rector for Research and Academic Affairs, in partnership with the School of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava, Slovakia. The chosen topic was "Inclusion of children with special needs: raising social and financial standards, integration into public life".
The participants were welcomed by WUNU Vice-Rector Oksana Desyatnyuk and Dean of WUNU Faculty of Finance Andrii Kizyma. Professor Okasana Tulai acted as the event moderator.
Interesting presentations were made by prof. Liudmyla Alekseienko (WUNU Ivano-Frankivsk Education and Research Institute of Management), prof. Nadiia Drobova (Kharkiv National Medical University), assoc. prof. Nadiya Dubrovina ( School of Economics and Management in Public Administration in Bratislava, Slovakia), graduate student Sviatoslav Nytka (Faculty of Finance, WUNU), prof. Brigita Kreiviniene (Klaipeda University and Lithuanian Sea Museum, Lithuania), prof. Josef Babecka (Ružomberok Catholic University in Ružomberok, Slovakia), and healthcare financing expert Bogusław Bliharsky (Poland).
