During the Vice-Rector´s for Foreign Affairs visit to Portugal from 4th to 8th of October 2021, a visit to the new partner university in Lisbon, took place. ISCTE - The University Institute of Lisbon was founded in 1972 as one of the first modern public universities in Portugal. Since its founding, the university has expanded its disciplinary reach to four faculties: ISCTE Business School, School of Sociology and Public Policy, School of Technology and Architecture and School of Social Sciences and Humanities.
With its focus, the university offers opportunities for BUEM students to complete mobility in all study programs, i.e., in the field of economics and business, SME management but also public administration.
At the same time, it is the first partner in Portugal where it is possible to develop cooperation at all levels of education from bachelor's, master's to doctoral studies.
During the meeting at the level of Vice-Rectors for Foreign Affairs of BUEM and ISCTE, the signing of the ERASMUS+ inter-institutional agreement for the period 2021-2027 was agreed and also memorandum on cooperation in the field of scientific research and at the level of PhD studies.
